Well, some of us have ended up with a long weekend. I’m one of them. I’ve been using mine to finally end up with some down time, which I’ve put to good use.
And yes, I realize some folks have had nothing but free time. Hang in there, the end is in sight now.
After working late (again) on Wednesday, I did still have several hours of work to do on Thanksgiving Day, but I did finish and get back in plenty of time to enjoy a turkey dinner, along with my wife’s family stuffing.
It is good. Really good.
Anyway, I spent a little time on Friday back in the studio, catching up on some last minute audio, then went and did a little shopping Friday night. Didn’t buy anything, but it was kind of fun. In a socially distanced way, of course.

The one thing I have learned in life is that there is always a season. Some seasons are long, like the Christmas season.
The AM station I program now is playing all Christmas music. I wish those of you who know what we did back at the Wave could here it, because it is very much based on what we did there, with a 2020 refreshening, of course.
And it sounds good. Really good.
We need a little Christmas. Especially after a year like 2020.
There is a season. And a time to every purpose under heaven.
